Roll & Write Writing Prompts are a fantastic way to encourage and assist students with their creative writing. We created this Christmas Roll & Write to engage children in creative writing in the lead up to the festive season.

These are a wonderful resource to do in person, or online if conducting a virtual lesson or catch up.

The instructions are simple — all you need is a 6 sided die and a pencil or pen. Roll the die for each category and write a story around the place, time, character, and complication that your rolls lead to.
