"Cooking for a Cause: Virtual Cooking Class Raises Funds for The Pyjama Foundation. Thanks to Kennedys Law Firm."

Our friends at Kennedys Law have been long-time supporters of The Pyjama Foundation. Recently, they surprised us with another great fundraising idea  a virtual cooking class!

Their team in Sydney is still under restrictions, but that hasn’t stopped them from connecting. Last week the team were social via Zoom for a DIY cooking class. The tutorial was led by two “amateur chef” lawyers from the firm. They guided their colleagues through making a Chicken and Chorizo Paella for dinner, and Nutella Brownies for dessert. Around 30 people from the office Zoomed in for the event.

Associate at Kennedys Ingrid Kristiansen said the event was incredibly fun and that the meals “turned out surprisingly well.”

So, how did it go?

As a team for this online event, Kennedys raised over $4,000 for The Pyjama Foundation! This is the second event hosted by the Sydney Kennedys team in support of The Pyjama Foundation this year. The law firm has also held a virtual trivia night earlier in the year, which was also a very successful fundraiser.

We want to give a huge thanks to Kennedys for their continued support and their creative fundraising success!
