Meet a Pyjama Angel
Being a Pyjama Angel has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever had the opportunity to partake in, and I recommend to anyone considering it, just do it, there will be no regrets. I read to an eight year old boy and it is the highlight of my week. We occasionally have soccer rally’s in the yard, we read, we look at insects and spiders (we both love spiders and all things creepy crawly), and we read, we do homework, and we read, we play games and do craft, and we read – but above all, we are just ourselves and we talk.

I enjoy the ability being a Pyjama Angel gives me to make a difference in a young person’s life and enhance their skills to make their life better than it otherwise would have been.
It is particularly rewarding to see the development of the child and see them gain confidence and enjoy things they previously found daunting.
Sometimes it just takes someone to spend a little bit more time explaining things on a one to one basis to make the learning experience easier and enjoyable.
Pyjama Angels make that happen.
