Become a Pyjama Angel today!
Now that you know you’ve met all the requirements to become a Pyjama Angel, there are just a few forms that you will have to fill out. All volunteers must undertake the screening process to ascertain their suitability to fulfill the role of a Pyjama Angel. The process involves completing the application, a face-to-face interview, referee checks and training.

I want to start the process of becoming a Pyjama Angel in NSW
STEP 1.Please complete the Pyjama Angel application form. Your regional volunteer co-ordinator will be in contact with you to arrange a time for an interview. Please don’t hesitate to contact your co-ordinator to discuss.
STEP 2. Download and print the following forms
- Working with children check
- You will need to apply for your Working with Children Check before attending an interview.
- Take your application number and proof of identity to a Service NSW Office. This is free for volunteers.
STEP 3. When you attend your interview, bring completed forms plus:
- Your driver’s license
- Your Medicare card
(or other appropriate ID)
STEP 4. Attend a training session.
STEP 5. Following your training and when we have confirmed you working with children check, you will be given contact details for your child’s Carer.
STEP 6. Contact Carer to arrange a mutually agreeable time to start your visits.
STEP 7. If you would like any help choosing resources for your visits, please contact your Regional Coordinator or Head Office.
