I want to start the process of becoming a Pyjama Angel in QLD

STEP 1. Please complete the Pyjama Angel application form. Your regional volunteer co-ordinator will be in contact with you to arrange a time for an interview. Please don’t hesitate to contact your co-ordinator to discuss.

STEP 2. Download and print the following form

  • Confidentiality Agreement –  bring along to interview

STEP 3. When you attend your interview, bring completed confidentiality agreement plus:

  • Your driver’s license
  • Your Medicare card

(or other appropriate ID)

If you already have a Blue Card or Exemption Card, we are required to link your Blue Card to The Pyjama Foundation, please bring your card and/or reference (online account number).

If you need to apply for a Blue Card, your interviewer will discuss the steps that you need to undertake.

STEP 4.  Attend a training session.

STEP 5.  Following your training, the Foundation will complete your reference checks and ensure that your Blue Card is approved and linked to our organisation. Once this is complete an appropriate match will be found for you and you will be given contact details for your child’s Carer.

STEP 6. Contact Carer to arrange a mutually agreeable time to start your visits.

STEP 7. If you would like any help choosing resources for your visits, please contact your Regional Co-ordinator or Head Office.
