Without donors, like you, children in foster care would not have the same opportunity to reach their dreams.
An Open Letter To our Donors:
To our generous donors and supporters,
Thank you for supporting The Pyjama Foundation.
Donations are crucial to maintain our Love of Learning Program for children in foster care – and without donors, and event participants like you, children in foster care would not have the same opportunity to reach their dreams, as they do with the support of their committed Pyjama Angel.
Majority of foster children who are involved with our Love of Learning Program and who have their own Pyjama Angel mentors are able to:
- Read and write a little better than before
- Are more engaged at school
- Can build confidence in themselves, and have self-efficacy
- Acquire and build important life skills
- Get a step closer to achieving their own life goals, whether it is to be a teacher, veterinarian, artist, or mechanic (whatever their dream may be!)
Donors like you are helping to make a difference – to the lives of children in foster care, and to the wider community.
So, from the bottom of my heart, on behalf of The Pyjama Foundation, I want to thank you for your support.
Whether you have been part of our journey for a short time, or for the whole ride, thank you.
Kind regards,
Bronwyn Sheehan OAM
Founder and CEO
