World Kindness Day 2022

If there is one thing you can never have too much of, it’s kindness. This year, World Kindness Day falls on Sunday the 13th of November, and you can bet we’re excited!

The goal of World Kindness Day is to make kindness the norm. We absolutely love this mission, not only as adults, but as a philosophy to teach kids! To help you teach little ones about kindness, we’ve put together some of our favourite resources from our friends at Teach Starter.

Resource 1 – Kindness Word Scramble

Word scrambles are an awesome way to teach kids about spelling, and to help them develop strong comprehension skills. This Kindness Day Word Scramble from Teach Starter is an awesome way to connect these learnings with developing an understanding of empathy and kindness.

Resource 2 – Kindness Hats

What’s a celebration without fun accessories? These cute and easy to make Kindness Hats are an awesome way to share the joy this World Kindness Day!

Resource 3 – World Kindness Day Colouring In Sheets

Colouring in is a classic activity, and for good reason. Not only is it great for helping little ones to develop their fine motor skills, but in this case, it’s teaching them some fun new words and kindness while they’re at it – how cool is that!

Each one of these great resources is available to our Pyjama Angels! Please email us for a printable copy so that you can use it with your children.

We’re so excited for World Kindness Day, and would encourage all grown ups to keep sharing kindness with your little ones! Make sure to spread kindness like confetti, and have a great day.
